Is there a way to cause a lookup to fill the data in it so that when I click the magnifying glass my results will show - i.e. I don't need to hit the search button then.

Preferably I would this in some custom C# code.

It was my understanding that the lookup property "Initialize Lookup" was supposed to do exactly that, although I have some issues with 7.5 that I'm not sure are related to customizations or application defects.....

I assumed that as well...but it obviously doesn't...so I'm thinking perhaps it was meant for something else? Who knows really

Are you wanting to have the lookup already showing results when it opens? Last I checked, the Initialize Lookup property does work to accomplish this for me. Are you saying that this does not work for you?

I know you're probably directing your reply to slxguy, Ryan, but I can tell you that I can create two custom entities (nothing real fancy or abnormal) on an eval SLX 75 DB and break the lookups all kinds of ways. I did it for Sage Support in a recorded meeting just after lunch today so they can find out why it isn't working. It's not just my environment, because it was easily replicated in theirs.....

I have also had problems with the Initialize Lookup property not showing the results automatically (7.2.2) and having to hit the search button.
