Dynalink/Mas upgrade to 7.5Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hello, I have a client who wants to upgrade from 7.2 to 7.5 and implement the web for the first time. So the web implementation is fresh (not upgraded). They are using dynalink in the lan to integrate with MAS. Does anyone know if any kind of upgrades are available to integrate the 7.5 web with MAS via dynalink short of coding it all from scratch? I have zero experience with dynalink so any advice appreciated. Thanks

I belive that there is a HF out that allows Dynalink 7.0 to interface with MAS 4.2, 4.3 and SLX 7.5.

There is a HF1 for DynaLink 7.0 on the SLX FTP site. It was released last month. The documentation for the hot fix states that it is compatible with SLX v7.2 and greater. Though the documentation doesn't explicitly state v7.5, I think it is safe to assume that v7.5 is included given the release date.

Dynalink only supports the Windows/LAN version of SalesLogix. This is also true of the ERPLink for MAS500 (that is in beta).

Based on the published roadmap - I'd say an Integration Package for SalesLogix web clients is a year (at least) away.

Dynalink will work for moving the data from MAS to the SLX database. However, it does not include the screens for the web client to view this data via the web. We have developed an addon for SLX web (called Power2Accounting for SalesLogix) which includes web versions of these screens (with many enhancements over what you get with these OOTB screens in the LAN client). I will likely be posting this product to our website next week, however let me know if you're interested and I can send you screenshots or arrange for a demo now.

Ryan, I would be interested in some screen shots at this point. The I believe the clients integration goes from SLX to MAS also. You mention the other way so I am of course wondering if you solution goes that way also. There are also some slight modifications to the dynalink code in the lan, so I am also wondering if you code is customizable. Thanks
