Error opening new main view
Posted: 02 Dec 08 9:05 AM
Hi All,
Created a new main view in 7.5.
In our backup system this main view works fine.
Moved to our production system and now we get the following error:
We apologize for the inconvenience, but your request cannot be completed. Object not set to an object reference.
Can someone please give me a hint where to look at this?
Thanks!
Alexander

OK, I found the error.
Here is what went wrong:
I used the slx profiler and saw that slx tried to update some entries in the vfs of the db.
During the upgrade, I have not updated the db's vfs, I used an exported vfs.
Importing my exported and working vfs into the db solved the problem.
I think this was the error here.
Hope this might help.
Alexander
