Problem logging into Web Ticket 7.2.1

Hi all
Does anyone know any reason why Web Ticket login should fail to accept valid passwords please? For a while, after restarting IIS, the system runs fine, but then it gives an error saying your password is invalid. We tried on a user/password that we KNOW is valid, too. If we do an IISRESET or manually flush the Application Pool, it works again for a while, but doing that causes currently-logged-in users to be booted off (not nice).
Apparently there are two settings we were told to try adjusting:
1. Application Pool Recycle setting: Currently set at 150 mins. Original was 6000 mins, and one piece of advise said to try halving that. We have progressively reduced that to 150 but it still breaks.
2. If RAM being consumed (virtual/physical) > 200MB, recycle the pool.
We can't seem to get any more ideas from Sage support locally. I believe the server is a 2GHz CPU with 4GB of total RAM. It is acting as: a. SalesLogix Server b. Citrix server (one of two) c. Print server d. FTP server
The SQL Database is on another server.
Any help/ideas gratefully accepted!

Thanks RJ
We have tried a username and password that works, and also they work after an IISRESET and/or after flushing the App Pool.
Some more info has come to light: 1. No hot fixes for 7.2.1 had been applied, so we are hoping doing that will help. 2. The server is only running SLX Server and Web Host, not the other things I previously mentioned. 3. Only customers use the web interface, not normal users. 4. The user count of users accessing the SLX Server via LAN Client connections or users coming in from separate Terminal Server boxes is about 30 concurrent.
I will post again once we know whether applying hot fixes helps.
