Disconnected Web Client (7.5)Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I am trying to get the Disconnected web client set up on a laptop. I have followed the implementation guide and have the remote db connected and syncing. The icon for the personal web server appears in the tray, but when I right click it the option 'Open Site' is grayed out. I have deployed the site from the AA back at the main office. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the disc. web up and running? Thanks

Steve,

Did you run the sync after creating the remote site in AA..? You'll need to run main server followed by the client so the web site syncs down

Steve, the reason that the link is greyed out is that there are no sites registered with the personal server. As Rich mentioned you will need to go to the deployment explorer. Specfiy the remote portals and choose the user you want to sync a portal to. Then do a deployment of the remote user portal. Cycle the sync server and then fire up the sync client on your remote users machine. After a little Magic the site should be available
