When i click on opportunity or options or account-> details tab and in a few other places i get this error
"Unable to read beyond the end of the stream" I am working on SLX 7.5 Web. I posted it here because i
dont think its a 7.5 issue, its something witht the web itself. i am new to slx web

We had same problem after upgrading from 6.2 to 7.5.
Sage admit a problem.
Resolution is run following sql on your live database(backup d/b first)
update systeminfo set data = (select data from saleslogix_eval.sysdba.systeminfo where systeminfoid='PRIMARY') where systeminfoid ='PRIMARY'

This assumes you have a eval database called saleslogix_eval

Back up your live database first.

WOW....I cant believe it worked... thaks a million.... i have been struggling hard for so may days with this error.

All the options in SLX Administrator, tools,options are affected by running this script. Best is screen shot before running SQL.
