I have a 7.5 system that was set up last week - was able install HF1 and HF2 bundles no problem. Went back to it yesterday and tried to install a customization bundle and got the following message on the Install Bundle screen when trying to install any bundle, even oob ones from the SLX install dvd: "The path chosen does not represent a valid bundle fiel. The model type: sage.Platform.BundleModel.BundleModel was not found." - This message appears when mousing over the red exclaimation point icon that comes up on the install bundle screen...

Any thoughts? Most bizarre.. thanks

This may be a "is the computer turned on?" question but we have to get it out of the way...

As you probably know, SLX web does not like long paths. Is the bundle file in a folder directly on the root, like C:\SLXB\bndlname.zip ?

Yeah, I dumped in the root of c: and made sure the bundle or path didn't have any spaces also.. no luck. very strange..

Mike, I uninstalled/reinstalled all SLX components on the server. Not elegant, but this seemed to work..

Looks like the actual problem is in the files C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Platform\Configuration\Global\ModelTypes.xml and BundleActionTypes.xml. We replaced these with known good versions and got bundle model working again.

Strange stuff indeed!

Mike, thanks for the additional intel. This problem creeped in again when I upgraded to SP1. Your fix did the trick.
