Accout Status Issue...!!

Hi all...!
I need to set default value for Account Status Picklist..!
I have set it from Architect.
Wat weired thing is happening is on "Insert Account" link it gets set fine...!!
but on "Insert Account Contact" value is not gettin set...!!
in the Insert Contact Smart Part OnLoad function I have tried to assigned using PickListValue property... Still not happening...!!
plz throw sum light...!!

Try setting this in the Administrator. Goto Manage / Picklists. Select the Account Status Picklist, Set the Default with the Value you want (ie. Valid). Goto website and see if it works. Goodluck!

I have tried the same.... its working for insert account for but not for insert account contact..!!
thats why I was tryin in code...!!

| How did you get it to work for Insert Account? I have tried setting the default for the picklist and setting the value on the load actions of the form but they get overwritten every time... |
