AA crashing after modify Insert Opp/ Opp Detail ScreenYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

SLX 7.5 SP1 > After making some mods (deleted a few fields, added a few fields) to the Insert Opp screen the AA started crashing on me when building with the error below. I restored the insert opp form from an oob system and it would build fine. So I hid the fields I removed before and all is well with that form. On to the Opp Detail form.. I added a bunch of fields from an extension table - didn't delete anything.. AA crashes while building again.. Has anyone seen this? Any clue on how I can get a successful build without crashing the AA? Thanks

First obvious question... Did you rebuild the interface before adding the new fields to the form?

Second: Is the Include Property set to True on the new properties? If it's an extension table is the relationship set up correctly?

Yes, the project was build many times before this modification. The relationship is set up as an extension table off Opportunity as it should be. All fields are included - I tried not including the oppid in the extension table with the same results. Except the AA is now crashing before it can open - the status bar of the splash screen hangs on "Loading Platform upgrade Module" and the AA disappears. The same error is showing up in the event viewer. So I can't even get into the AA now..

Some history: the first modified form worked (insert opportunity) - then I turned the Opp Type picklist into a radio group - it built ok. I changed it back to a picklist as it had added a blank radio button for some reason in the GUI. Then I tried to build and AA started crashing. . I tried a repair of the web host also.

Ok, although I can't pinpoint the actual point of failure this seems to have happened when I configured some lookups through the new wizard. I got back into the AA by moving the Working folder I had mapped to when creating a workspace in upgrading to SP1. Then I deleted the content of Documents and Settings/App Data/sage/platform/output for the user I have been logging in as. This allowed me to get back into the AA. I recreated my workspace and moved the folder back to its original location. I then went into my screen and deleted the offending lookups before building again. I recreated them without the wizard and all is well.
