Is anyone feeling as limited as I am when trying to fulfill requests to filter lookups beyond hardcoded values? The new lookup wizard is a step in the right direction but still pretty limited. We are able to do some pretty complicated lookups in the lan pretty easily with code -but when the client wants these replicated in the web it quite often seems like a fairly complex (ie expensive) custom solution is required. Are there any tricks out there to filtering? Passing variable to the filter properties - like Account = :ACCOUNT or something? Is it possible to use an SQL statment to get the results of a lookup? The latest requirement I have is to put a lookup on the insert opp screen that looks up all campaigns the contacts of the parent account of the opp. have been associated with. Not too bad in the lan, but I am at a loss to do this without a heavily customized solution - probably not even using an SLX lookup...

So any tips/documentation/blog posts people could point me at would be helpful - I feel like either I am missing the boat or the lookups are extremely limited (no pun..).

Also wondering if it is possible to populate a lookup with javascript.. Thanks
