What is the proper Format Type and Format string to get a currency value to show up as a currency in the List view.

For example: In the Account List View we display the Revenue field and would like this to properly show up as a currency value instead of just a number without a $ and commas. I've tried every Format type and .Net format string I can think of to no avail - is this a bug or am I just missing something here?
