Mysterious web reporting url
Posted: 04 May 09 9:20 PM

I am having trouble with web reporting and can't figure out where the site is getting the url from.. I have configured all aspects I can find of the web reporting to be on port 3335 and using the servername, not localhost. (IIS, web reporting portal, dependency in SLXClient portal), rebooted, check the reg, checked the config files in deployment targets for both portals, cleared ie temp files). When I run a report it makes it to the screen where the report should appear and fails with this url: http://localhost:3334/slxwebrpt/SLXWebReportingServer.ashx?method=GenerateReport
Can anyone provide a clue as to where the web server might be getting localhost:3334? I am stumped.. |

Hi Steve,
If it is SLX 7.5.1 please check your site dependencies in portal manager-> core portal-> client portal -> advanced options section.
Thanks and regards Sandeep |

thanks Sandeep. That has already been configured for port 3335. The mysterious 'localhost:3334' path persists.. |

Sounds odd...maybe the deployment is not overwriting something? Have you tried removing everyting in your deployment folder and re-deploying? |

Odd indeed, Just did an uninstall/reinstall/re sp1 of web reporting, cleaned deployment folder out, rebuilt and redeployed reporting and slxclient portals.. localhost:3334 persists.. It's like they moved the gravestones but left the bodies (poltergeist).. |
