Business rule error with SLX Web v7.5 Sage training classYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hey Guys,

I recently sat the Sage SLX Web v7.5 developers class and have encountered some issues with the training course.

When I create a Business rule for an onload event I get

"Unable to locate type information 'Sage.BusinessRules.CodeSnippets.SenatorDetailsEventHandlers, Sage.SnippetLibrary.VB' for business rule 'SenatorDetails.Onload' "

Now im a totally novice at web dev so I followed the instructions in the manual and this is the result.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Hmm cant say Ive seen it before but something to check: did you create a VB business rule or C#? Did you select the correct type when you created the Business Rule? It seems odd that the developer course would use VB - maybe they do now? Something to check anyway...

Hey,

As a follow up I managed to figure out the issue with help from the tutor from the SLX class.

I set the controlID on a control to one thing and referenced it via code as another, I missed
the Build output error warning, Im chalking this up to inexperience

Thanks for your help though

Regards,

Marc
