Update Schema Error ICRM v. 8.3 Application ArchitectYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Problem:

We are trying to install ICRM version 8.3 on a Windows Server 2016 Data Center Edition. Also, we are upgrading our ICRM from version 8.2 to 8.3 on another server (Windows Server 2012 Data Center Edition).  When we get to step 35 of “Upgrading to Infor CRM v8.3 pdf” - “Restore the ICRM v8.3.0 project backup to the virtual file system VFS workspace”, we cannot rebuild the schema. We are experiencing this problem on both the install and upgrade. While the database is rebuilding in the Application Architect, we get the following error on every table that the rebuild database is inspecting in our VFS:

SCHEMA UPDATE ERROR
An error occurred: The ConnectionString property has not been initialized.

Our database connection resides on our application server and, when tested, connects.
We really need your help to explain to us why our schema isn't rebuilding.
This is preventing us from completing the upgrade.

We have documentation and screen shots of every step followed during our upgrade process. If you would like to see that, please let me know.

Our Environments:

SQL Server 2016 and Windows Server 2016 Data Center Edition for an install of v8.3

SQL Server 2012 spk 3 and Windows Server 2012 Data Center Edition for our upgrade from 8.2 to 8.3

Things we have tried:

1.      Turned off firewalls, antivirus, and checked all ports

2.      We have updated the security settings in the connection manager for Persist Security = True, and have reset the Integrated Security.  The connection manager has a successful test.

3.      Sent our db to infor, our database is not the problem

4.      Deleted all other connections from the Plugin Cache and rebuild our connection

5.      SQL Native Client is installed on both environments
