HTTPS synchronization method

We are thinking on changing our Sync Transfer Profiles from ftp to https synchronization method. Has anyone encounters problems with the HTTPS synchronization or have any recommendation?

Good move - go for it. This will get you away from a nasty "bug" that's ftp sync has (random hanging). It's the most secure OOTB way of doing SalesLogix sync and solves the firewall problem. Just make sure you follow the directions provided by SalesLogix.
However, remember to make multiple stp's with their own set of directories and:
a - each remote office has it' sown stp
b - about 5 remote users per stp
