We're having the strangest problem with all our users. We recently upgraded from 6.2 to 7.2.0.

No matter what the setting in Tools|Options, and no matter what the past due settings in the actual Activity Reminder dialog, the Activity Reminder appears WITH past due phone calls displayed. This is different behavior than 6.2 (and seems to conflict with the actual settings) - and it's driving our sales team nuts.

Any ideas on what might be going on? I can provide more specific/screen shots if necessary.

Tony

Indeed, activity reminder did change from 6.2 to 7.2 - you need to update to 7.2.2 so that activity reminder calms down and doesn't pop-up as often and also .2 brings back rollover of timeless activities - which further prevents the activity reminder from appearing. It's a combination of those values that is causing your issue.

Thank you, Mike.

After your post I went and read the release notes for SP2.

Funny thing was that it was *such* a major behavior change, that I was locked into thinking "there's no way this is a bug - something must be wrong with my install/db."

In any case, it's SP2 time...

thanks again,

Tony
