7.5 w SQL 2008

Hi,
I'm trying Saleslogix 7.5 with SQL sever 2008 and have an unexpected issue. I've installed the server and network clients, all is working well. I've launched a sync cycle and it seems to work well, but when I try to cut a new database I have the following message: "Database creationfailed : Could not connect to source database. Error: Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed"
I've also try to launch the database integrity checker and it crashed (from WG admin or alone)
Any idea?
Thanks,

Not sure this is it but worth a check.
The following is taken from the V7.5 implementation Guide
(Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Only) On the All tab: a. Double-click Persist Security Info. b. In the Property Value drop-down list, select True. c. Click OK. d. Double-click Integrated Security. e. Click Reset Value. Data may exist that does not display in the Value field. This value must be reset to ensure that all data is removed. f. Click OK.
Hope this helps Chris |

Chris,
Thanks for your answer, I saw this in the Guide and it alllows me to connect to the client but for others softwares like the integrity checker or the Database generation, I'm stuck!
Anyway, I'm back on 2005...
Regards,

Try installing the SQL 2005 Native Client from the Redist folder on the install dvd.
Good luck! |
