I am getting a Function had an error... message, "An unusual error has occured when executing View: Accounts. Contact your system administrator, 0x1 @0; Function View: Accounts Exception: Access violation at address 00A63B0E in module 'SalesLogix.exe'. Read of address 00000054" I have tried finding any solution online, but have found nothing. I tried running the repair with setup, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, and looking for any errors on the server the software is on. I am new with SalesLogix and would appreciate any help. The computer is running XP Pro SP3, the server runs Server 2003 SP2, and SalesLogix is version 6.2.6.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Hi Brian

This is a generic error message - sounds like the sort of thing that might occur if your database is at a different version from your client. Have there been any upgrades / reinstalls recently?

Is the error happening for all users? All accounts?

Cheers
Phil

Thank you Phil for getting back to me, there have not been any Recent upgrades / or reinstalls, she was the only one experiencing the problem. It turns out the problem was the user account, her account was set up years ago and she had not accessed SalesLogix at all in that time. Her account was blown away, rebuilt and she was able to access the accounts just fine. I appreciate your response and suggestion.

Thanks,

Brian

No problem - it's great when they're that easy to fix.
