Could not export data. Contact your system administrator.
Posted: 02 Feb 09 9:11 AM
hi folks,
we are using SLX 5.2 in our branch office in Brazil and there we acutally have problems exporting accounts to Excel (via the 'Export current group to Excel' button). The error message is not telling to much: "Could not export data. Contact your system administrator."
We are using Office 2007 but do not know if the problem exists exacly since we upgrade to this new version of MS Office.
Has anyone an idea?
Thanky a lot.
regards
daniel

Yes, it is because you upgraded to 2007. You can try this:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Word]
@=""
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Word\InstallRoot]
"Path"="C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\OFFICE12\\"
This "fakes" SLX to thinking it's still Office97 - but you do need to consider an upgrade to be honest !!
