Problem restricting access
Posted: 10 Feb 09 8:29 AM
I currently have one team and want to create a second. I created the second team and added a user to it. This user only resides in the newley created team. I would've assumed, since the team was not the owner of any accounts that that user would not be able to see any records. My goal is to change the owner of accounts to reflect the new team and only grant them access to their ownership.
Right now it looks as though they have access to everything. Am I doing something wrong?

You have not mentioned who the owner currently is on those accounts. If it is EVERYONE then the teeams don't matter - everyone will see it.
If the accounts are owned by "Team1", and your user is not on Team1, that would be an issue.
