About a year ago I added a customization to the opp detail form. When the user changes the status picklist to a certain value for example Lost then it opens a form to be completed. That form contains several items plus one picklist. I have two remote users that when they click the picklist now it opens behind the form. Other users work as designed. Anyone seen this behavior before?

Unfortunately I have seen this, not just with picklists, but with other SLX screens too. A real pain and sorry to say I haven't figure out a solution (I'm sure any solution to this would require a change made in the software by sage)

Sorry.

Well, I just found one solution. Kill SLX (uninst, del, regedit) and reinstall worked on my Columbus, OH user. The problem is the other user is in Tiawan!

I had a similar situation on some PCs. What I did to fix it was delete all the SLP file from the local system, and delete the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SalesLogix\Client leaf from the registry.

Is this a Legacy or Active Form? That makes a huge difference I think.

It is a manage form created in 6.2.0 and we are now on 6.2.2 planning to do sp4 in Oct/Nov 2006.

A managed legacy or active form? I'm guessing Active but there is definitely a difference between the two. When the form was created isn't the problem as much as the current client. We are on SP3 and I've yet to hear of the problem though my use of managed forms has dwindled and we have like a total of 10 users.

The processes properties screen in Architect has a tendency to go behind the form. You can't get to it without Alt-Tabing in just the right sequence to bring the window to the front or reopening Architect entirely. I'm definitely not doubting the issue exists but there may be some common theme as to where it affects people the most.

We have a client complaining of similar behaviour where Area Category Issue dialog hides behind the Insert Ticket form.

Unfortunately it does not happen every time (it is especially well behaved when I have remoted on to their system ), but it does occur enough times in the day to be particularly annoying to the customer. They are using 6.2.3, I've sean other posts where this behaviour occurs and the only solution appears to be ALT+SPACE +M and move the dialog over until it is accessible.

Does anyone know if this can still occur in 7.5? I don't really want to upgrade them though as they've done a lot of their own customisations.

I have the same problem in 7.5 and the only solution I found so far is an Alt+Tab until I'm on the same application which put the hidden form in front...
