Ticket -Area Category Issue

We recently upgraded from 6.2.3 to 7.5. Has anyone had an problem with 'issue' on the ticket not 'sticking' when a user chooses it? After they pick it off the list it flashes and goes away and since I have it set as a required field it will not allow them to close the ticket until that field is selected. Not all the items on the Issue list does this. It looks like the first one will work but the rest do not. Our lists are very extensive and I would rather NOT have to re-enter them all. I did fix this issue with another on the list by re-entering it and then it would work. I know that will fix the problem but would rather have a 'mass' fix. |

I have had the same issue and it is a known defect by Sage. I do recommend calling their support on it to report another case and a possible additional scenario that may be causing the error. I did find the same fix to work of reentering the troubled items but do feel your pain of not wanting to reenter possible hundereds of items. |

KI - We saw it on client sites over a year ago....
One thing.. each "issue" MUST be unique!
If you have something that looks like: Alpha Alphatest
Thsn you WILL have problems. You have to change one or the other so that ALL are totally unique.. it spills over to Category and into Area. Everything in each must be unique in each.. -- RJLedger - www.rjlSystems.net |
