login problems

We just now starting getting this error when attempting to log into SalesLogix Client:
Database login failed: Failed to connect to SLXServer. Check if server is running and is compatible with the cujrrent provider version.
Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

First of all, make sure you configure the SLXSystem to run as a Service, and with credentials that have network access.
Now, to get rid of the error message: Stop SLXSystem (if running). Execute an IISReset /restart
The SLXSystem should restart as you log back into SLX. |
