'go to saleslogix' button missing in outlook

Hi
does anyone know anything about 'go to saleslogix' button in outlook and how to enable it. i searched in google but got nothing.
this is how i have come accross it; our director has this button 'go to saleslogix' in outlook, now we have 2 other users and they dont have this button.
the outlook button 'go to saleslogix' goes stright to the contact in saleslogix, if the contact is not there then it will prompt to insert one.
the version is 7.2 for all of the users.
and its not the 'send button' i am talking about.
does anyone have any idea about this?

| If you are using Outlook 2003, you will need to be sure the email editor is not MS Word, if you are using Outlook 2007 you will need to enable the slxab32.dll add in: Tools> Trust Center > Add-ins. Once you have enabled it you will need to activate it. |

Also, it may be as simple as un-registering and then re-registering two DLL's.
In program files\saleslogix directory - slmn.dll
In the system32 directory - slxab32.dll |

its a button in outlook to lookup contacts record in SalesLogix via the Name or Email address straight from Outlook when the email address or Name is filled in the "From" field
we already have the SendSLX button.
the 'go to saleslogix' button is an extra button.
has anyone heard of 'go to saleslogix' buton? in outlook.
one of the user has this extra button in outlook and other users do not.
i have tried the below but the button this does not appear. is it the case of adding it in manually?

Yes these buttons do exist, and should with every install of SalesLogix
Note: any suggestions are assuming SLX install is meeting all system requirements.
In my experience when the buttons (regardless of the button) do not appear after registering the dll's it is because the Add-in has been disabled.
You might want to take a look at the one computer that this did install correctly to see what is different between the two.

I am having the same problem what did you do to resolve the issue.
I have regestered both dlls have run the bat.
Yet go to slx doesn't appear
I am lost
this is for outlook 2007
I can however see the button record to slx. |
