Saleslogix Library Within Outlook showing removed content
Posted: 24 Feb 10 11:06 AM

SLX Version 6.2.6.1007 Outlook 2003 Windows 2003 Terminal Server Citrix 4.0
When a user is within an email and wants to insert an attachment from the Saleslogix library, there are files showing that have been removed years ago. But, if the user goes to the Library from the main SLX screen, bypassing Outlook, the proper files appear. This happens to all users on all terminal servers.
Does anybody know where this list pulls from?
Thanks Jim

Depends on the type of Database (Host vs. Remote):
Typically, a Network user will build the list based of the tables and the actual files available on the Server.
On a remote, the List is based primarily from the Tables (LibDir, LibDocs) and then compared against documents on the Local folder. If a document exists on the Local Folder but not on the Tables it isn't listed.
From what you are describing, the Old documents appear to still exist under the Library folder, and this is because the Outlook Library screen is building a List of Available files, regardless of what is stored on the LibDir and LibDocs. |

Thanks Raul for the response.
These are network\hosted users. I did a search within the Library folder and the files are not there, but the LibraryDocs table has entries for the removed files. Is it safe to delete the entries in the LibraryDocs table? |
