SalesLogix Database Remote DB Cut Error Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hi, I am using SLX V7.0.1. While creating a remote DB, it is getting failed with the following message line at the end:

Also DB Size is increasing to 2 GB +.

Any suggestion what can be done to troubleshoot this? Is there any size limit on remote DB? If yes, can we increase it? Also what are the other possible solutions?

Hi,

From your connection details it looks like your creating the remote using 'Create on SQL Express/MSDE Instance from SQL Host'

If this is the case, and you are running MSDE? The limit is 2GB - However, you can upgrade to SQLExpress as this supports up to 4GB.

Even though you are running v7.0.1 of SalesLogix and SQLExpress is not 'Qualified' it works fine! We have several sites running it with no issues at all.
