Is it ok to switch a remote user temporarily to network user in instances that there is a problem in synchronization? Or will it create a problem once the user is switch back to remote user? |

Not OK! You would need to cut a new remote database for them after setting them back to remote.
But remember that remote users can log in to the main database as well as their own remote databases - they just need the appropriate connection (data link) set up for them. Working like this is fine. |

You mean it is ok if they connect to the production or remote environment alternately but their user type should be interchange form remote to network and vice versa? |

User type stays as remote - all the time.
But they can connect to either SLXRemote, or the host database (so they will have two connections in their data link manager). |
