Hi , One of my client is getting the error "An error occourred while initializing or shutting down the Intellysync sync Engine-supplied directory does not exist" while trying to create schedule in SLX.

We are using SLX 7.0.1.

Any idea abot this?

Thanks, KT

Hi,

Can you verify the user has full 'write' permissions on the 'SalesLogix\Intellisync folder'

Hi,

I would just reset this users intelli-sync configuration, it tends to resolve the issue 99% of the time in the earlier versions of i-sync

Close SalesLogix applications, including Outlook.
Navigate to C:\program files\saleslogix\slxintellisync.
Note:  An \Intellisync folder may exist as well or instead of.  If so, open this folder and go to Step 3.
Right-click the USER folder and click Delete.
On the Delete Folder window, click Yes.
Repeate Steps 3 & 4 for the USER.cfg folder.
From the Start menu, click Run....
On the Run window, in the Open: field, type regedit.
On the Registry Editor window, in the left-hand pane, expand to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SalesLogix.
Right-click on SLX_Intellisync and click Delete.
On the Confirm Key Delete window, click Yes.
Note:  Repeat Steps 9 & 10 for \SLXIntellisync if the folder exists.
Exit the Registry Editor.
Open the SalesLogix Client.
From the Tools menu, click Options....
On the Options window, click Outlook Synchronisation.
In the Sync Configuration area, click Configure...
Configure as desired.
