Anyone got a trick to reset the admin password if forgotten?

For SalesLogix 7.x, you can run the section of the initialization SQL script that sets the admin password to blank:

-- Set the admin password to blank<br />UPDATE sysdba.usersecurity  
SET userpw = '1D7CD8B59CF252361B72DCBD99F45C321377DAB39DFC59341D73D2B69BF25D'  
WHERE userid = 'ADMIN'
