Hi,

a few day ago our business partner installed the "Exchange Link 8.00" - tool for our SLX 7.2.2-System on a new XP-SP3-virtual machine to use the synchronization between SLX-calendar and the Outlook-calendar (2003/2010 on Exchange 2010), and to synchronize Contacts in both systems and so on....

Generally it seems to work properly (calendar bi-directional, contacts from slx to Outlook (OL) only), but i am confused about some features:

  • in OL you can use the "private / personal" flag in appointments in order to hide the appointment details from other users --- but such an appointment will be still synchronized via ExchangeLink to SLX calendar, can i except such an appointment from synchronization?

  • i can complete an appointment in the slx-calendar, and in the subject of the ol-calendar-item there will be a timestamp with a "completed-" - text added, but when i delete this appointment-item in ol, it will not be deleted in the slx-calendar, why?

Does anyone knows someting about an exchange-link-manual or -howto?

Thanks

Marcus
