Merging contacts but not accounts?Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hello everyone,

I am attempting to reconfigure our security model in SLX LAN 7.5.0.1. I have created teams and have one team where I want them to be able to delete, create, merge contacts but NOT Accounts. I have been trying different configurations but am unable to get the results I want. Is this even possible without writing custom code and if so, how? I have to admit that I am a little overwhelmed by the SLX security. Right when I think I have a piece figured out, I run into something like this.

Thank you very much for any help or assistance

Unfortunately no, not at all possible. If you merge accounts, the contacts go with the account to the new team. The user can either create/delete per entity (not per team). Your only option is customisation to fix this. If you are confused now, imagine what it would be like with an array of CReate/Update/Delete per team
