I update our system from 7.5.1 to 8.1. No problems. Now when I create a remote db i get an failure. I can attache the remote db but its not an remote version, i'am missing the sync function. When I start the Sync Client it tellls me that i can use the Sync on the host db.

The 'sysdba.WPE_vw_LST_MEETING_ is a view. After the attachment i run a script to include some views in the remote db for crytal reports.
Before the update i had now problems creating a db and the views.

Do anyone know if SLX 8.1 has problems with custom views i created. It seems that this could be a problem.

I changed one collation but no difference.

Same issue here since upgrade to SLX 8.1.

HI Marcel,

we solved it by rename the views which causes the problem. It was a name problem. Our main view was created before the other views.

The second problem was solved by creating the remote db on SQL Express Instance on a other machine.

Maybe this helps.

Using a dedicated SQL Express with the correct collation settings solved the issue for me.

I'm getting a similar error when cutting a remote DB but it doesn't give me the name of the view. How can I go about finding the view? Here's the error:
