Hi, when i try to attach a remote db i get the message "Provider not found"

i installed SLX 8.1 an SQL Express 2008 r2. Has anyone ideas what the problem is?

After install Native Client the first message is gone. now i get the Message "Named Pipe Provider:Could not open a Connection to SQL Server (2)"

any ideas
