Questions about Infor "cloud" offeringsYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

A partner I spoke briefly with seemed to be saying that Infor would provide an AWS EC2 instance for a SLX 8.0 on premise customer as part of their maintenance. Did I hear him correctly?

Can bundles written for 8.0 be applied to saleslogixcloud?

Thanks,

Doug

Hi Doug,

On your first question.... Unless there is some unusual circumstance Infor does not include AWS Instances as part of your Miantainance.

You could migrate your licences to cloud at a reduced monthly rate but that would be it.

Second question.... The answer is yes Bundles written for On Premise 8.0 Web can be applied to Cloud 8.0.

Side note, I am not sure Infor will sell 8.0 Instances of Cloud anymore your only option may be to upgrade to 8.1 if you want to move to cloud.

Lastly.... These are all normal questions your Infor CRM business partner should answer for you.

Best, Brian

Hi Brian,

Thanks for response. I was getting conflicting answers between the business partner sales person, project manager and developer. We were all set to move the on premise install to newer server when the sales person strongly pitched going to saleslogixcloud. At this point I think the sales person is right for this small installation that only needs several hours of work to get customizations ready for 8.1.
