Concurrent licensing?

fiogf49gjkf0d I know that there is the option of being a Support only Concurrent user but is there such a thing as a concurrent Sales license in version 6.2? |

fiogf49gjkf0d The answer is Yes.. But you have to upgrade your SalesLogix to at least 6.2.2 for that to works. 6.2.2 upgrades will convert your existing Concurrent Support Users licenses to Concurrent User license. This means, that you can use your licenses to run Sales Client upplication up to the number of your concurrent users license has. Be advised that each user connection from web client takes up 1 concurrent license. And before the patch in 6.2.4, each time you open outlook application with Outlook Integration turned on, you will also consume 1 license. You can asked for further info and confirmation in this matter with your BP. hth

fiogf49gjkf0d It was actually 6.2.1 that introduced the Concurrent Sales Client licensing. But if you are not at the rev level, I would suggest upgrading to 6.2.4 due to other fixes and the ability to use the new SLX Profiler, etc.
