Data Base error

Hello,
I'm running 5.2.6 on all my remote users, lately all remotes are getting an error message: DataBase Error
: or database error ocurred: General SQL Error. using the BDE connection
I have not problem if I use an ODBC connection to open Sales Logix
any idea?

If you are using that version - you should be using ODBC anyway. Obviously, you are aware this is very old now !!

Thank you Mike for your answer, but by using ODBC will all changes get apply to the remotes DB's will not carry an issue later on....

We run windows update all the time, do you think that this error message might be because a MS patch or somethig like that. ?

Very very likely ! Things change all the time and SLX was particularly affected by TimeZone changes 18 months ago (which you escaped by keeping on 5.2!) but you just can't tell anymore.

There is only ONE thing you need the bde connection for.. the WGAdmin to cut remotes. The SalesLogix Sales Clients (LAN dnd Remotes) can use ODBC as Mike pointed out.
We would setup our customers to use the one crystal uses
