Outlook 2010 and slxab32.dllYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

First, I have found that in the 32-it versions of Outlook 2010 I can get some or all of the SalesLogix Integration working. However, I am getting mixxed results. For instance:

On my Terminal Server:
Windows 2008 R2 64-bit running RemoteApp, Remote Desktop Services and Remote Desktop Gateway
Office 2010 with Outlook (32-bit)
Office 2007 without Outlook
SLX System Running as a service
SLX Network Client 7.5.2

On this machine i had to manually register the Outlook integration dll's through the command line (Not the batch file) and everything works great.

On my workstation:
Windows 7 64-bit
Only Office 2010 (32-bit)
SLX System Running as a service
SLX Network Client 7.5.2
SLX Admin
SLX Architect

On this machine the slmn.dll installed Automatically and the batch file sucessfully registers the slxab32.dll. However after registering the slxab32.dll, Outlook will generate a fatal error on start. Deregistering the dll resolves the Outlook startup issue.

Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the error:

An Update on this issue. I have now successfully set this up on a laptop with outlook 2010 with both SLX DLLs and it is working beautifully.

I also have more information on the client that does not work and the terminal server that does.

The terminal server actually has every add-in that is on the desktop and then some. So I am at a loss as to what exactly is causing the problem.

Has anyone had any success or failures regarding this?

I am having a similar problem.  Have you had any luck working around the error generated from slxab32.dll?

Which version ?

We have it running fine on a user system - see more here:

Also, when you register the DLL's - be sure to do this AS THE USER (on TermServer) - but you'll need to grant them admin rights temporarily.
