I am not sure if I am posting this in the right forum, so I apoligize if this not in the correct area. I have a database design question. In our company, we can have one conact that is associated with multiple accounts. This person would hold the same role for all of those accounts(most of the time). Currently, the way that it is set up is that we have to create a separate contact record for every account. Unfortunately, that means that one contact could be out there over 100 times. This makes it difficult when we want to do a mailing or even creating a group with distinct records. Does anyone know of a better way of setting up this type of relationship?
Thanks,
Renee

One thing you may want to consider is using similar functionality to the "Reseller" as is done under the Opportunity object. Since this role is the same across multiple companies, you could create a field for "Role", then do a lookup of contacts that are a given type, thus assigning them to that role.
