SLX create and manage teams
Posted: 09 Oct 08 10:40 AM

Hi all, I need help. I'll try to explain everything in the easiest way... I create new teams in SLX Administrator, I did it as always, so everything should work fine, but it doesn't. In the same time I created 7 teams, by copying one of them and later changed the users inside each team. 3 of them are working, I can login as specyfic user and make changes. I can login as other users as well, but I'm not able to make any changes. Every time when I want to go to address, the commend appears: You don't have security rights to this account. And I know it's not true, because I check again the security rights and everything is correct! Besides I can't insert "contact for account" (there is no such choice) and intellisearch doesn't work properly (when I want to add new contact to existing account, it doesn't appear in search results).
Does anyone has any idea? I've been trying to resolve this problem for a couple of hours! I hope you understand what I wanted to explain... I'm waiting for response.
Thank you very much! Marta |

Verify the Team Profile for the user. The team profile will grant or deny user permissions when accessing records belonging to this team.
Open Administrator GoTo Teams Select & Expand Team Select User
Their Team profile will be in one of two places depending on Version and set up of your environment. In (parenthesis & Italics) to the right of the User's name is a Team Profile type. OR If there is a pane to the right of the Team Window (can toggle this view): It too will have a profile type. |

Carla, thank you for your answer. The problem was finally resolved, unfortunately not by my... Anyway the mistake was in function security tab in user profile, edit and then give access to Assign Leads Owner which was removed... I really don't know why, because I've never changed it before. But strange things happened. Now I know I should double or triple check step by step each security rights access when I saw similar error. |
