Moving database from one SQL server to another.

Hi all, We have two instances of SLX. One ‘live’ one ‘dev’. They reside on different servers. Each is fully functional. Each instance has it’s own SQL database server. The Live instance is the one our company will expose to users when we go live with SalesLogix in the fall.
I have been doing all development work on the dev server while Sales Mangers etc. have been ‘playing’ and learning SalesLogix and requesting customizations on the Live server. It’s now time to move all modifications from dev to live. My plan was to simply copy the dev database to the live server and create a connection on the live server.
I did a back up on the dev server and did a restore of that backup on the live server. My problem is with the sysdba logon on the live sql server. I cannot set the user mapping for login sysdba to the newly restored database. The error states that ‘User, group, or role 'sysdba' already exists in the current database.’ This problem prevents me from creating a connection in the SLX Connection Manager.
Can some please help me over this hurdle? I really don’t what to go through the hassle of individually selecting each and every plugin and database change to create a bundle. The changes are extensive.
FYI, relations have soured somewhat between my company and the SLX var, so I am asked not to involve them.
