Hi All
Having issues with CLOB fields, or not being able to copy them from live to dev db.
What I wish to achieve is to have a PSQL script or similar (maybe sql plus), that essentially copies the contents of the live database to the dev database, but not the system configuration, so that I don't need to reconfigure the entire SLX setup each time I want to baseline my dev/test db.
PSQL copy between instances using SQL Developer works fine unless there is a CLOB field in the table def

Anyone got any info, suggestions or tools that will do the job? Remember FullCopy? that sort of thing would be great!

Many Thanks in anticipation
Gary
(PS Am SLX Sysadmin but don't have full permissions on Oracle DB, have to involve central dba admin people for some stuff)
