I've been trying to create an Audit Log for when records are deleted from sysdba.CONTACT.  I can create the trigger using SQL in SSMS, and everything works fine as long as I delete within SQL in SSMS.  In SalesLogix, hoever, now when I try to delete a record from sysdba.CONTACT nothing happens.

Is there a special way that I need to create a trigger in order for SalesLogix to work?

Make sure you set NOCOUNT ON at the beginning of your trigger, and set it OFF at the end.

Otherwise SLX may rollback the transaction.

Thanks Raul, that was part of my problem.  The other half I overlooked was granting sysdba INSERT, SELECT and REFERENCES permissions on my new logging table.
