Hi at all,

does anyone ever got the message "The table is no longer in this database." in SalesLogix (7.5.4) Architect? The message appears after open a project that contains a userdefined table. The Project Manager list the action "Create table" with description "[Structure, Indices]" without tablename.

Many thanks in advance for any hint or experience!

Cheers,

Thomas

Well.....does the table exist (in SQL Server)?

Sounds like the resynctabledefs entry is gone.....at the minimum.

Hi RJ,

many thanks for your answer! Yes, the table exists in the database (it's Oracle 11).

To debug and solve my issue, we did a similiar test with SalesLogix system tables.
The funny thing is: We have created a new project and add (via "Add Action") two tables to that project:  ACCOUNT and CONTACT. After saving the project and reopen the project we got the same error message: "The table is no longer in this database."

This is really strange

Best regards,

Thomas

So you haven't actually installed the bundle into another SalesLogix Database?

Simply created the Project with a Create Table Action?

What version of SLX?

I'd talk to Sage Support.....sounds like a bug to me.....on SQL Server I regularly use Create Contact, Create Account, Create Opportunity actions in projects.....and never encounter your issue.....
