DB manager crashing on load

fiogf49gjkf0d I am trying to add some fields to a dev DB at my office. When I initialize the DB manager it appears to load everything (the progress bar loads to 100% and says analyzing table:Workarea (I assume because it is alphabetically the last table to load)), then the administrator crashes. The same with the administrator. I have tried this on several different machines conneting to the same database. Has anyone seen this or know how to fix? I ran the integrity checks and fix all problems also.
Thanks Steve K. |

fiogf49gjkf0d (1) See if there are any Non-SalesLogix Tables in the Database. If there are, one (or more) may have attributes that are giving the db Manager a problem. (2) See if any colums have been added that were not added via the DB Manager - specifically look for colums where the name may contain a space or non-Saleslogix valid character.

fiogf49gjkf0d Have you tried the integrity checker in Administrator? 6.2 I believe includes the "check for circular joins" item which is usually what causes it to hang at 100%. If you're on an earlier version I believe I can dig up the SQL to check the joins if you need it. |
