Need to understand how to trblshoot why auto sync stopped on sync server on v. 5.2.5. Downloaded docs for sync process and read, got training doc on how to set up but that's for a first time. Not sure if the server just need rebooting or the service stopped and restarted? Is the service set up on the server or from the workgroup admin machine? Can't find service on server....only old service referring to wrong set of sync folders. Have checked settings in Workgroup admin and then sign on to server and run sync cycle hoping the job will kick in but never does and I've had to run manual syncs for last 2 months. Do I have to: create a new SyncConfTran (support did already but still not working), change something in regedit on sync server or on my workgroup admin machine? Have two sets of SyncLog folders - other named SyncService which I think schedule was referring to instead. What is the correct location of the syncservices.cfg file on workgroup admin machine or shd it be on sync server? What is Shared Log folder for?

Irene, are you still having problems with your sync server? It has been a while since you posted.
