Hi all,

our DB admins are bugging me as they want to remove the SYSDBA user rights from database and rename it (dont ask me why.....audit....)

My question is: how far can we go regarding SYSDBA user? (Oracle)

+ Change default password > yes of course

+ Remove (default?) rights of this users? (ours does have some DBA rights as it seems)
if that is possible: what rights does the SYSDBA user need for SLX?

+ Rename SYSDBA user? Is that even possible or is SYSDBA such crucial internal name that it can not be changed? [what we can not change is the schema name as it is coded in several views, sql queries of other applications, so big no-go here from my point of view]

Thank you!
