Hi
There is a log file directory on my server which seems to have a large number of files in it. The folder in question is c:\Synclogs\WGLogs, and currently it contains 96,670 files, totalling 992MB. I suspect that log files are never going to be needed, and can be purged periodically. As far as I can tell, they are not DB logs, but application logs, so I can't be certain about their purpose.

Is there a Sales Logix expert somewhere who could advise whether or not the files can be deleted?

Do you have a sync server or remotes? The sync process is supposed to convert WGLogs to files that go in the Infiles\ folder for your remotes. If I were to guess, it sounds like someone enabled the sync license but didn't turn on the sync server (most likely because it's not necessary). SalesLogix will basically create WGLogs indefinitely until you either turn it off or have a sync server processing them.

Have you contacted your BP or whoever setup your system? They would know if you're using remotes and should know the procedures to turn it off. You want to make 100% sure you don't need sync before you do disable it, otherwise you'd be in for some major problems then.
