fiogf49gjkf0d Hello how are you? does anybody know how to convert a remote database to a host one, perhaps changing a particular field in a table? The problem is that I have a backup from a remote database and I want to log into the Administrator and I can´t (message: Administrator may only be run on the host database!) Another solution? Thanks!!! |

fiogf49gjkf0d You cannot do this - the remote does not contain all of the necessary plugins and is a scaled down version (not complete) of the host. |

fiogf49gjkf0d That said, if you just want to login (do NOT attempt to convert this to a host - you will be ignored in any further comments you make after you do this !) - simply run the exe /ADMINOVERRIDE switch. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Agree w/Mike.. There is also NO data in the SECCodeJoins table in any remote so even if you use the admin on the remote db you will NOT be able to see any of the security correctly..
Remote db's are basically "throw away" db's. -- rjl |

fiogf49gjkf0d Is there a posibility to make it work with bundler application instead of the adminisrator? |

fiogf49gjkf0d The idea is to recover an old customization from a remote Db backup, generating a bundle with some plugins and tables. Thanks, |
