server error

fiogf49gjkf0d hi,
This is chaitanya, i have come across error in the saleslogix client when i move from accounts to contacts
there was an error saying
view:contacts exception: Could not establish connection with Slxserver.
Check server is running and port is correct.
please kindly provide me with the solution as soon as possible.

fiogf49gjkf0d Check your local machine Event Logs. Sometimes you will see "LoggedInUserThread" error messages which are written during these types of errors. Just log off the computer, (or simply reboot) log back in and you should be OK.
Does this occur for all users or just for yourself? |

fiogf49gjkf0d Make sure the user PCs in question have the same version of SalesLogix on their PC as the host.
After you have verified this my next question is are they all remotes or all network users or both user types? Can you duplicate the issue on the host? |
