Unable to initialize data dictionary

We’re upgrading SLX from 6.2 to 7.01. Everything works fine on the server ( connection mgr, administrator, etc.)
I’ve installed SLX on an SQL 2005 named instance. When I try to connect a CLINET, I get “unable to initialize data dictionary when I test the data link. I’ve installed the native SQL client on the client machine and that did not fix the error
The kicker is that I can connect the client to a NON named instance and it works like a charm.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’d like to keep it on a named instance as we have multiple databases.

SP2 is 3.44 MB (3,613,696 bytes)
Which is interesting, as I just spotted a bug in Vista - the details view shows as 3,529KB but the file is 3,613,696 which is actually 3.44Mb !

I'm glad I'm off on hols - ignore the rambling above !! It's correct.
However, the version I currently have is shown above for SP2:
20-Feb-2007 | 10:22 | 3.44Mb (or 3,529KB) !
